Prescription Drugs

In 2015 the average American took 13 prescription medications.
Seniors over 65 years old take substantially more and even kids average 4 prescription medications per year.
The United states spends massively more than any other country on health care, but is rated dead last when it comes to the overall health of our country. As of 2015 we spent 3 trillion dollars per year on health care which is 17% of our Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
More drugs doesn't equal more health.
